Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Problems of quantum mechanics will be solved as homework and the solutions presented by the students during the exercise classes. The concepts and methods covered in the associated lectures will be deepened.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exams, performance in the exercise classes.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grading according to the performance in the exercise classes and the exams, which test the students' ability to solve problems of quantum mechanics autonomously. 60% of the overall grade is determined by the exams, 20% by the number of prepared problems, and 20% by the performance during the exercise sessions. For a positive overall grade, a minimum of 50% of the total possible points and 40% of the exam points are required.
