Comparison of various ESO-Instruments, preparation of observations with optical/IR and mm-interferometers (ALMA)

Assessment and permitted materials

attendance, written protocols of the different exercises, possibly presentations

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Abalitiy to select suitable instruments foe own observing programs, understanding the possibilities and limitations of interferometry in the optical/IR and with ALMA

Examination topics

Literature-/Webbased search, application of web-based tools, written summaries of the work and possibly presentations by the students.
