Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

During the course, the students will learn how to clearly and concisely explain the complex topic of their master thesis to their peers in the form of a public presentation.
Students will also learn to provide constructive feedback on the presentations of their colleagues as well as actively participate in questions session.

Assessment and permitted materials

We will grade the ability of the students to present their master research: the clarity of the oral and visual presentation as well as answers to questions posed by the audience.
Presence and active participation, in the form of asking questions and providing feedback on the presentations, will be mandatory for successful completion of the course.
Attendance and submitted “expose” are mandatory requirements for the successful completion of the course.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

- presentation of the master thesis
- presence (minimum 10/13)
- submission of "expose" - scientific rationale and plan for the master thesis
- active participation (minimum 2 questions asked in the course)
- feedback on one master thesis presentation
