Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Different concept and methods of astronomical public outreach will be discussed. Based on these a presentation with a mobile planetarium will be conceived and realised (aimed at school kids of ages 6-14).

Assessment and permitted materials

-> Presentations in lecture and school (50%)
-> Participation in discussions (30%)
-> Attendance (20%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

good general knowledge of astronomy, some experience with presenting astronomical topcis to non-experts, STEOP, Astrophysics I and II must be completed
