Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The emergence of new observational capabilities, in particular ALMA, has lead to the
exciting prospect of directly comparing resolved observations of star formation in our
Galaxy and in nearby galaxies. This development increasingly entails connections
between these previously separate fields. In this seminar, we will discuss underlying
seminal papers on both Galactic and extragalactic star formation science.
