Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Overview on the observational properties of asteroids and comets, and their interactions with planets (close encounters and impacts).
Observational techniques and campaigns using space missions and ground based telescopes.

Introducion to extrasolar systems and the habitability of earth-like planets.
Life based on alternative solvents as well as an introduction on exotic life especially extremophile life.
