Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Stellar structure and evolution theory is one of the foundations of astrophysics with consequences to various phenomena, from the formation of planetary systems to galactic evolution. The lecture deals with the basic concepts of stellar evolution theory, puts them in context with modern observations and explains some practical examples with the MESA evolution code.
