Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this Seminar, each participating student will present at least two papers that have recently appeared on the arXiv preprint server and that relate to hot topics in cosmology, the large-scale structure of the Universe, or related topics in computational or statistical methods. The papers to be presented will be assigned. Following the presentation, the class will discuss the content critically.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
(a) Minimum 80% presence throughout the semester.
If (a) is fulfilled, the grade will be a combination of
(b) active participation (50%) and
(c) the quality of the paper presentation (50%).
