Aims, contents and method of the course

1) Overview of planetary dynamics in the solar system: influence of the gas giants; terrestrial planets and habitability; the crossing of planetary orbits;
2) Stability and chaos in the planetary system
3) Small-body dynamics in the solar system: the main-belt asteroids; Trojan asteroids; Near Earth Asteroids (NEAs); Kuiper belt; Oort cloud
