Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students of the seminar should learn the work with historical written astronomical sources, how to find them or how to research for them. Additionally a look on the historical sources of the institute shall be taken, to get to know the own historical documents.

Die Verwendung von KI-Tools (z. B. ChatGPT) für die Produktion von Texten ist nur dann erlaubt, wenn dies von der Lehrveranstaltungsleitung ausdrücklich gefordert wird (z. B. für einzelne Arbeitsaufgaben).

Based on the PI-charakter of the seminar the grading is based on different parts and their weighting- attendance (at least 75% to be positive graded, not taken into grading)
- participation on group discussion (20 %)
- presentation (40 %)
- written summary of the own work (40 %; will be checked for plagiarism with Turnitin)
