General circulation of the global atmosphere: Budgets of mass, energy, momentum, trace constituents; fluxes, conversion rates, characteristics of circulation (Hadley, Ferrell, polar cell), zonal mean circulation, state fields, boundary conditions at top and bottom of atmosphere, stream functions
