Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students have basic knowledge of the components of the climate system and their interactions and time scales.

The contents include, among others:

Components of the Earth system, their interactions and time scales, global energy balance, energy transports, large-scale circulation of the atmosphere, water cycle, ocean and ocean circulation, internal variability, anthropogenic climate change, past climate states, climate modelling.

Grade 5: < 50%
Grade 4: 50-65%
Grade 3: 65-77.5%
Grade 2: 77.5-90%
Grade 1: > 90%
