Arrival and departure will be organized by the participants themselves.
There is a direct train connection between Vienna and Krems/Donau (recommendation: REX 4, 08:03 Wien Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof - 09:08 Krems/Donau).
From Gneixendorf Walzerbrunnen the bus lines 5 and 710 go to Krems/Donau train station (recommendation: departure 16:06 (5)/ 17:02 (710) / 17:06 (5), continuation from Krems with REX 4 at 16:22/17:22 to Vienna Franz-Josefs train station, arrival 17:30/18:30).Catering:

Costs of travel, own meals, and the tour through the Asbacher Klosterkeller (10 €, +5 € for optional subsequent wine tasting lasting until ~17:00) are to be paid by the participants. IMPORTANT: The cost of the tour (10 €) or tour + wine tasting (15 €) must be brought in cash and paid on site.Other notes:
During the excursion a hiking distance of 10 to 12 km and about 400 meters of altitude will be covered.
Sturdy shoes are an obligatory requirement for participation! In addition, the excursion will also take place in moderately rainy conditions. Therefore, it is recommended to bring appropriate weatherproof clothing.
The excursion ends when the tour through the Asbacher Klosterkeller is finished.
