Aims, contents and method of the course
hydrology and geomorphology of Vienna's moutain torrents (limestone vs. flysch), flooding, river engineering, water quality, Vienna's sewer system

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Based on the example of Vienna, the students will be enabled to investigate and critically discuss on the topic of mountain torrents in metropolitan areas (resources and natural hazards).
