Aims, contents and method of the course

Remote sensing is a principle method in geography to detect environmental changes but also to quantify parameters.
Only students with a profound computing knowledge and basic understanding of mathematics should visit this course.

Term paper, active cooperation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Aim of the course the production thematic maps based on satellite, radar and ALS data.

Examination topics

Beside the presentation of principles of remote sensing the main focus is on guided practical work with satellite, radar and ALS data.
