Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The intention of the seminar is the strengthening of skills to transform literature of economics into relatively short papers. Important is that the papers have a clear structure and understandable statements within a given volume. The topic is structural change, particularly of the Austrian economy. There will the factors be analyzed, which influence the sectoral change and the international competitiveness. Additionally there will strategies and concepts of the structural policy be discussed. The specific literature will be given to the students before the beginning of the seminar. The students should write seminar papers and give presentations relatively long as well as relatively short. These exercises are the basis for grade, where the long versions have the highest priority.
