The fundamental goal herein is the comparison of these new developments with the traditional approaches to deliniate the possibilities, but also the limitations of the new methods and techniques. Discussions of the linkage to system theories and to global change issues is of particular importance. Specific lectures will concentrate on pre-defined subjects from Physical Geography.
The choice and selection of the themes is based on the planned Bachelor thesis.
