Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture series aims to provide knowledge on different in-depth aspectes of natural hazards, vulnerability and disasters. Different reputated national and international experts are invited and will give the respective presentation in German or English. ATTENTION: The presented program might change on a short notice!!
The experts will present their individual topics in aprox. 45-60 minutes presentations and are then available for a discussion for another 30 minutes.

We have to point out, that their might by short notice changes in the program due to the Covid-19 situation - we ask for your understanding and flexibility. However, the schedule itself will remain.

Assessment and permitted materials

The online exam will contain multiple-choice and open questions. All questions are in german and there will be at minimum one question per lecture. The responses can be in German or English.

Besides the respective overheads of each lecture and Zoom-recordings of lectures the lecturer has consented to the upload, additional thematic material will be provided on moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

It is highly recommended to pareticipate in all lectures. If a lecture will be recorded dependents on each lecturer - therefore, please do not expect the recorded lecture anytime.

The individual point and evaluation key will be provided before the exam.

Examination topics

Basically, all questions can be answered based on the overheads and the Zoom-recordings of the individual lectures. However, comprehension questions can surely be answered more easily when having attended each lecture.
