Aims, contents and method of the course

Chapters: Basics (technical terms, definitions), Graphic file formats, Typography, Theory of colours, Special Software for cartographers.
After passing both parts of the course (and the laboratory course) the students should be able to produce maps of high quality and know the ways how to duplicate them.
