Aims, contents and method of the course
Acquiring GIS-knowledge in the field of Geomorphology, computing derivatives from digital terrain models, geomorphological mapping, geomorphometric analyses, statistical and heuristical susceptibility analyses of landslides, validation of modelling results
Assessment and permitted materials
Writing of reports (incl. Maps) according to the exercises
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Improving GIS-Knowledge, application of GIS in Geomorphology, evaluating the potential of GIS for specific analyses
Examination topics
Independent completion of exercises (Software: ArcGIS, SAGA GIS, R), writing of reports (incl. maps)
