Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture "Population Geography" teaches the participants the basics of population geography in a systematic and introductory presentation. The participants should gain a profound knowledge of central population-geographic dynamics, learn to reflect on causes and effects and be enabled to apply this knowledge to current socio-political problems.

Assessment and permitted materials

Optional online test during the course of the lecture, creditable to the final examination to the extent of a maximum of 10 percent of the total number of points in the final examination

Multiple Choice Test in Moodle, 90 minutes, 40 multiple choice questions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In order to pass the lecture, a positive assessment of the written examination is required (over 50% of the maximum number of points).

Examination topics

Contents conveyed in the lecture (lecture, presentation documents) as well as introductory and further compulsory literature.
