Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course focuses on regionalstatistic analysis and methods, which are conducted with the software Excel 2013. Beside a general introduction in (spatial) statistics, indicators that help to estimate and interpretate the regional disparities are applied in the exercises of this course. Further, bi- and multivaritate statistics were applied to analyze interdependencies between regional variables; beside the analysis and interpretation of spatial data, the vizualisation of empirical results is a relevant topic in this course.

The students have to acquire the following competences:
