Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
After the three day field trip, participants will be able to recognize different housing types in Vienna, and about stakeholders involved in the building process. Framework conditions, demands, needs and motivations of different eras will be explained and should encourage a critical reflection on the topic. The participants will be qualified to understand single housing projects in the bigger picture of urban transformation. Further we will be able to scrutinize neighborhood development and social interaction of urban residents during our field trip.There are no fieldtrip fees. However, you have to pay for yourself the costs for public transport.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Eine aktive Teilnahme (Mitarbeit und pünktliches Erscheinen) an allen Exkursionstagen wird für eine positive Bewertung vorausgesetzt. Ebenso beinhaltet die Exkursion eine Vorbereitung (Pflichtkektüre, sowie eigenständige Umfrage, Interviews und Interviewanalyse) sowie eine Nachbereitung. Genauere Informationen dazu werden rechtzeitig über die Moodle Plattform bekanntgegeben.
