Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Currently, refugees, migration, and integration are major socio-political issues, as well as central topics of human geography research and teaching. The purpose of this field trip is to provide geography students with a first-hand understanding of the challenges and approaches to refugees, migration, and integration in Vienna. Through visits to various organizations and institutions dealing with these issues, students will gain a deeper understanding of the policies, practices, and challenges in these areas.
Location: Vienna
The Organizations and Institutions to be visited will be announced (UNHCR, IOM, ÖIF, Red Cross, DIakonie, etc.) on Moodle. The exact schedule and visits may be subject to change depending on the availability of the organizations and institutions.
