Aims, contents and method of the course
Using case studies from Latin-american, African, Asian and East-European countries, the seminar will analyse and discuss preconditions and barriers to sustainable economic devel-opment in the global south.
Assessment and permitted materials
The seminar is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that the presentations, summary of presentations and contribution to the discussions form the basis for evaluation and the mark.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Presence at the seminar according the rules for "prüfungsimmanente" courses.
Marking: presentation (including powerpoint-file): 70%; contributions to the seminar discussions: 30%
