Aims, contents and method of the course

This course provides an overview of ArcGIS Server 10.1 architecture, functionality, installation, and administration. You will learn to publish GIS resources and build webmapping applications.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

- Apply best practices to install and configure an ArcGIS 10.1 for Server site
- Use ArcGIS Server to share GIS resources (eg. cached, image and map services)
- Use ArcGIS Viewer for Flex & Silverlight to build applications
