Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The students will learn the principles of remote sensing and will be guided through practical execises using various kinds of GIS software. They will derive variables from various types of remote sensing data (e.g. satellite, aerial), and map environmental changes, such as river patterns or land use changes. Furthermore, they will quantify processes with the respective data and generate thematic maps.
