Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The students prepare short presentations to given overarching topics which are presented at the stops of the excursion.This task comprises of: 1. A comprehensive overview to the topic, 2. The attempt of a political geographic analysis to the topic in general and to its relevance for Vienna, 3. A short individual assessment.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation on all three excursion days, written handout and oral presentation on specific topics at the stops during the excursion, preparatory research work.
Examination topics
No written exam or protocols of excursion days.Short presentations with a handout at selected stops during the excursion, active participation in the discussion throughout the excursion.
Reading list
Will be announced at the introductory lecture.
