Assessment and permitted materials
Demands to be met by the students:
Active participation during lessons; reading of recommended texts and
finding out informative material; cooperation with drawing up new
materials or games throughout the course;
final thesis: transfer of selected topics to junior up to high-school level.The performance evaluation (including the grade) results from the above-named elements, which will be rated differently depending on the working effort.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Subject matter:
Planning the connection between economic and sociopolitical theories and the general aims of economic education by taking into account concrete case studies. Constructing adequate methods and materials to transpose the theories into practical teaching (all levels). Getting to know and to apply different didactical approaches to overcome the problem of actuality in the economic education.

Examination topics
Case-based team works, discussions, consolidation of activity based tuition sequences and course materials, participating in some excursions.

Discussing the general aims and the methods of economic education by taking into account controversial, didactical positions. Getting to know and plan didactical implementation strategies by considering concrete case studies and teaching units for the fields: household and consumer economics, professional and labor economics and social economy. Analyzing concrete teaching units concerning different didactical challenges for the economic education in secondary level 1 and 2.
