Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture debates the trends of real estate markets from different geographic perspectives. After a general introduction in the property sector and an analysis of recent trends, two spatial scales are in the main focus of this lecture. First, the global scale, where varieties of national real estate markets as well as the impact of the recent economic crisis on these markets are discussed. Second, on the regional scale, the interplay between demographic change, regional disparities or infrastructure projects and the real estate sector is the limelight of this lecture. Main topics of the lecture:
- macroeconomic and geographical approaches to real estate markets
