Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar aims at discussing in depth the current disputes between the USA, Europe, China and also within North-America, which have been emerged from the divergent economic developments in these regions. Among others, important issues are the development of the current balances, production structures and internet firms.
The method of the seminar is that every student has to prepare and present a speech of about half an hour, which will be followed by discussions.

Assessment and permitted materials

The seminar is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that the presentations, summary of presentations and contribution to the discussions form the basis for evaluation and the mark.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Presence at the seminar according the rules for "prüfungsimmanente" courses.
Marking: presentation (including powerpoint-file): 80%; written and oral contributions to the seminar discussions: 20%
