Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture "Introduction to Cartography and Geoinformation II" intensifies and supplements the topics covered in the lecture "Introduction to Cartography and Geoinformation I". Presented are among others:
EH01-GIS: GNSS and Mobile GIS, 3D Data Acquisition, 3D GIS (AR)
EH02-GIS: Applied geoinformation processing (AR)
EH03-cartography: Basics of cartographic representation (KK)
EH04-cartography: Applied cartography and geocommunication (AP)
In addition to the introduction to complementary topics, the lecture aims to introduce students to current research perspectives in cartography and geoinformation by presenting selected problems.

Assessment and permitted materials

Final exam (MultipleChoice, SingleChoice), no aids allowed.
This lecture is together with the "VO Introduction to Cartography and Geoinformation I" subject of the module examination "BA GG 1.3 StEOP Introduction to Cartography and Geoinformation".

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Assessment is by means of a MultipleChoice/SingleChoice (online) Exam. Positive completion is given from an overall score of 51%.
