Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar deals with the development paths and potential of emerging Asian economies in a global context as well as in interdependence and rivalry. This should be done on the basis of selected dimensions, such as demography, economics and geopolitics. In addition to the "global players" China and India, key states, mainly from East and Southeast Asia, are also to be included in the analysis.

written paper and presentation, participation in discussions
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Ability to identify the main demographic, economic, social and political development factors of the Asian key countries under discussion, as well as their current and targeted influence at a global level.
Basis for assessment: oral presentation 40%, paper 40%, discussion 20%.
