Aims, contents and method of the course

Techniques of GIS- and model-based field mapping of soil erosion processes as well as sediment budgeting approaches in small agricultural catchments are taught.
The students will gain a deeper understanding of the processes involved (e.g. interdependencies between influencing factors) as well as to apply and critically discuss different kinds of methods.
