Aims, contents and method of the course

Aims: Extend and deepen knowledge on the specific structure of the Wiener Gründerzeitstadt. Enhence competences in the analysis of ownership-housing marktes (land register).

Contend: Based on a selected neighbourhood (1170, Elterleinplatz) a long-term analysis of ownership-changes shall be conducted. Further, the build environment and the structure of the dwellings will be analyzed.

Methods: Analysis of land register, neighbourhood analysis, evaluation of the physical structure and renovation measures.

Assessment and permitted materials

- proactive participation, active participation in the discussions
- submission and presenation of a final neighbourhood report
