Aims, contents and method of the course

The course offers an introduction to programming and shows the customization of a GIS (ArcGIS) with Python scripts. The following subjects will be discussed: basics of data processing, basics of programming languages, programming techniques, introduction to ArcGIS and ModelBuilder, introduction to scripting with Python, customization of ArcGIS with Python scripts.
