Aims, contents and method of the course

The course, linked to the Proseminar (PS, SS 2008) with the same title, consists of an excursion to Romania. The places to go are selected along topics prepared in advance:
- Bucharest: Centre of Administration
- Brasov: Regional Development and Tourism Projects
- Sibiu: European Capital of Culture in 2007 as a regional impulse
- Cluj-Napoca: Location of higher education institutions and European Labour Market and Qualification Programmes
In total the excursion aims at a deeper understanding of the recent economic history of Romania towards EU-integration along several examples and case studies.

Number of participants: 24 max.
