Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This excursion is a joint field trip in cooperation between the University of Vienna, Austria and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The destination is the Pakleni Island Group in Croatia, where students will have the opportunity to acquire and apply geographic and cartographic expertise. Theoretical approaches will be discussed as well as applied research carried out. This field trip can only be attended in combination with the Field Trip Preparation Course at the University of Vienna.

Assessment and permitted materials

The emphasis of the excursion lies in discipline-specific individual knowledge acquisition as well as teamwork based practical work. The results will be presented as a final group presentation at the end of the course. The individual as well group performance will be assessed.
