Aims, contents and method of the course

Knowledge base within Human Resource Law and operational Human Resource Management as well as the cost factor labor
Accentuation of the economic relevance of the factor labor and their main actors: social partners, general government and legislation, economic activity, entrepreneur and employees, labor market and vocational training as well as critical discourse.
Didactic approach with the focus on Human Resource and labor market

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examination of the content of teaching
Conduction of a sequence of a teaching unit
Participation respectively engagement during the course

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

After having completed the course students are skilled to give lessons with Human Resource Management topics concerning the Austrian labour law and social relevant problems

Examination topics

The lecturer will give the students an understanding of the topics with a mix of different techniques like ex-cathedra teaching and case studies related to practice, discussions and role plays within the seminar unit. The conduction of a sequence of teaching units by the students should tighten the acquired knowledge and offer the potential of critical examination.
