Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course “Spatial Analysis in Spatial Planning” provides an application oriented introduction to geospatial analysis. Main objectives of spatial analysis are the statistical exploration of spatial patterns and modeling their relationships. Therefore, the course gives attention to some theoretical and practical key issues of point pattern analysis and modeling lattice data applying Open Source Software.
Requirements: skills in GIS and statistical analysis
