History and development of nature conservation and protected areas.
Paradigmatic shift in nature conservation and international categories of protected areas.
Comparison of nature conservation policies, land use management and network structures of protected areas in European countries.
Outlook: Parcs as efficient land use instruments for securing sustainable landscape development.
Methods: Interpetation of literatur, Buzz-Groups, Interviews, Field Trip
