290110 SE Seminar in Economics (2007W)

The goal of the seminar is to take a closer look at those propositions, opinions and slogans about economic relations which do not survive a well-founded theoretical and empirical critique.
The seminar is thought to be a contribution to the economic education of the participants in the sense of the famous Joan Robinson, who asserted that "The study of economics is about learning how to escape its heresies".
The topic of the seminar will be dealt with by the participants, who will give lectures on the different sub-themes on the basis of appropriate literature.
