Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The intention of the seminar is the strengthening of skills to transform literature of economics into relatively short papers. Important is that the papers have a clear structure and contain understandable statements within a given volume. Further should the capability of discussion be improved. The topic is the current crisis of the Western Economy and the Eurozone. There should the causes of the current crises be analyzed, in relation to the Euro-zone the analysis is focused on the consequences of imbalances in the balance of trade. Additionally there will strategies and concepts for the solution of the crisis be discussed. These concepts are based on the work of J.M. Keynes, particularly in relation to the increase in public investments.
