Aims, contents and method of the course

Development of the necessary project management know-how accoring to the Projektmanagement Austria method (www.p-m-a.at ).

Knowledge of the project management processes (startup phase, planning phase, implementation phase, closedown phase) and the project management tools (defining and contexualisation, objects of consideration, project objectives, work breakdown structure, work-package specification, milestones, resource planning, controlling and coaching, evaluation).

Structure of the project documentation (project manual) on the basis of individual projects.

Assessment and permitted materials

Für die positive Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung sind erforderlich: (1) Regelmäßige Anwesenheit in den Lehrveranstaltungseinheiten (maximal eine begründete Absenz), (2) zeitgerechte Abgabe und positive Beurteilung der in Gruppenarbeit zu erstellenden Projektdokumentation (Projektbasisplan = 60 % der Note) sowie (3) Erledigung von Aufgaben über die Lernplattform Moodle in Einzelarbeit (je zwei Aufgaben zu je 20 % der Note). Zur Sicherung der guten wissenschaftlichen Praxis kann eine mündliche Reflexion der abgegebenen Arbeiten (Projektbasisplan und Aufgaben im Moodle) festgesetzt werden, die erfolgreich zu absolvieren ist.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist der Erwerb des notwendigen Projektmanagement-Know Hows nach PMA zur Planung und Steuerung von Projekten. Nach erfolgreicher Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung können Sie die erforderlichen theoretischen Grundlagen erläutern, Projekte prozessorientiert initiieren, mit den erforderlichen Projektmanagement Tools planen, erklären wie die Projekte in Folge zu realisieren und abzuschließen sind, sowie deren Ergebnisse reflektieren.

Examination topics

Die Lehrveranstaltung findet geblockt statt. In den Einheiten wird sowohl die Theorie vermittelt, als auch das Wissen auf selbst gewählte Projekte und dargebotene Fälle angewandt und reflektiert.
