Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Within this introductory seminar course selected examples on climatic change will be presented by the participants. The students will be involved from the beginning into all stages of planning. This includes the choice of topics, the selection of suitable information sources (Internet, Journals, Books), the presentation of a concept, the presentation of the worked out topic, the preparation of a handout and respectively of a working record. At the end there will be an oral exam about a paper from a specialized Journal. This introductory seminar course is aimed at Geography students in the second part of their course of study. The participants should have a basic knowledge about climate and related processes.
