Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the Seminar is to introduce students with modern topics of the Cartography such as web cartography, mobile cartography, multimedia cartography, world cartographic platforms such as Google Maps and others.
The students should compile the researches on a given topic, analyze them and present their view on the topic, its practical use and future development. The students will work in teams and present a given topic by a paper and a presentation. They will participate actively in discussion of all presented materials.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Seminar paper (50%)
- Presentation of the seminar paper (30%)
- Contributions to the discussions (20%)
