Aims, contents and method of the course
Within this seminar, fundamental aspects of applied geomorphology will be addressed. This includes a theoretiscl introduction, specific geomorphic systems, a range of regions and future challenges. In the first meeting, the topics wil be assigned. These need to be presented in oral and written form.
Assessment and permitted materials
The content and design of the opverheads, the oral presentation and the written essay which has to include the topics raised druing the discussion.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The final mark is a combination of oral presentation (30%) and overheads (10%), the written essay (45%) and the continuous contributions to discussions (15%).
Examination topics
No exam.
