Aims, contents and method of the course

Einführungskurs in die Geomorphologie für Lehramtsstudierende

Inhalte: Formen und Materialien der Erdoberfläche, geomorphologische Prozesse, Grundlagen aus ausgewählten Teildisziplinen der Geomorphologie: Aufbau der Erde und Plattentektonik, Gesteinskunde, Vulkanismus, Verwitterung, gravitatitive Massenbewegungen, Fluvialmorphologie, Karstmorphologie und Glazialmorphologie.

Lehrziel: Vermittlung der Grundlagen, Anleitung zur Umsetzung des Erlernten in zwei schriftlichen Semesterarbeiten, praktische Übungen zur Anwendung geomorphologischer Methoden.

Präsentation, eigenständige Semesterarbeit, schriftliche Prüfung

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Erlernen der Grundlagen in der Geomorphologie sowie die Umsetzung des Erlernten durch eigenständig ausgearbeitete Aufgaben.

Examination topics

Vermittlung der Grundlagen, Anleitung zur Umsetzung des Erlernten in
einer Präsentation und einer schriftlichen Semesterarbeit.
