Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Final exam for 1.5 h in the last unit: Participating in the course is strongly recommended, as the exam will primarily be focused on practical relevance, understanding and calculation
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- Consolidated knowledge relating to the nature and purposes of business administration for students that have already become acquainted with the basic economic terminology in the lecture "Grundzüge der Ökonomie" and intensive discussion of particular business topics to prepare the participants for teaching business administration according to the curriculum of the Austrian "AHS"
- An adequate understanding of the basic approaches and key concepts of business administration as well as a study of realistic business situations to reinforce the student¿s ability to analyse information and to develop expertise and methodical competence in core economic fields
