Aims, contents and method of the course

Consequences due to natural hazards have been rising significantly since years. The preparation and implementation of susceptibility maps is one option to minimise future damage.
After a preparatory exercise with digital terrain models, its derivates and digital geomorphological mapping, susceptibility maps are compiled using heuristic and statistical landslide modelling and flood modelling.
